There are 4 food groups that we are going to focus on: Lean Proteins, Zinc-Rich Foods, High Fiber Foods and finally Antioxidants (strawberries, blueberries and others)
Lean Proteins
Including lean proteins in your diet like chicken, beef and fish can decrease the onset of acne breakouts. Lean proteins have been proven to decrease the productions of enzymes which stimulate skin oil production. This reduction in skin oil will actually allow the skin to breath and eliminate acne currently on the surface of the skin. Since acne occurs because of excess oil and toxins within the skin, add lean protein to your diet and you will automatically decrease skin oil production. Eat black beans, tofu and seitan and try to avoid foods that are high in saturated fats.
Zinc-Rich Foods
Adding zinc-rich foods to your diet can be very beneficial to your skin and reduce acne breakouts. Zinc contain anti-bacterial properties which cleanses the skin and removes toxins from within the blood stream. Toxin left within the blood stream would have otherwise travelled to the surface of the skin. Foods that are high in zinc are soy-beans, sunflower seeds and whole nuts. High Fiber Foods
These foods have the same effect on acne as zinc-rich foods. They eliminate toxins from the skin and blood which otherwise would have accumulated forming acne. High fiber foods are easier to incorporate into your diet since much of them are vegetables like broccoli, spinach, artichokes including nuts.�
Foods Containing Antioxidants
Some very delicious foods contain high antioxidants which can help clear up your skin. Antioxidants promote healthy skin cells growth and cleanse the blood of toxins. They are very easy to incorporate into your diet because most of them are found in strawberries, blueberries, flax seed oil, walnuts.�

Drink Plenty Of Water
